Position Description Summary:

The basic function of the Aggregate Haul Driver is to drive the assigned Aggregate Truck/Trailer in a safe and efficient manner. The Driver is to follow the dispatch directions given by the Aggregate Dispatcher and report to the Aggregate Driver Supervisor and is to follow the instructions of the Aggregate Driver Supervisor.

Aggregate Haul Driver

  • Understand his/her portion of the daily dispatch sheet
  • Maintaining his/her (1) Logbooks, (2) Dump Truck Reports, and (3) Delivery Tickets
  • Properly filling out the Driver’s Daily Inspection Report 
  • Properly use the System of using Tarps
  • Additional assigned duties and responsibilities as the circumstances warrant.


Position Qualifications:

The Aggregate Haul Driver must have an understanding and background and experience driving 18-Wheel Truck/Trailer rigs in a safe and efficient manner. The Aggregate Haul Driver must be able to pass all tests and meet all requirements and qualifications established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
