Aggregate Haul Driver
Position Description Summary:
The basic function of the Aggregate Haul Driver is to drive the assigned Aggregate Truck/Trailer in a safe and efficient manner. The Aggregate Haul Driver is to understand his/her portion of the daily dispatch sheet. The Aggregate Haul Driver is to follow the dispatch directions given by the Aggregate Dispatcher. The Aggregate Haul Driver reports to the Aggregate Driver Supervisor and is to follow the instructions of the Aggregate Driver Supervisor.
The Aggregate Haul Driver is responsible for properly maintaining his/her (1) Logbooks, (2) Dump Truck Reports, and (3) Delivery Tickets. The Aggregate Haul Driver is responsible for properly filling out the Driver’s Daily Inspection Report. The Aggregate Haul Driver should know how to properly use the time clock system. The Aggregate Haul Driver should know how to properly use the fuel system. The Aggregate Haul Driver should properly use the System of using Tarps. The Aggregate Haul Driver may have additional assigned duties and responsibilities as the circumstances warrant.
The Aggregate Haul Driver must have an understanding and background and experience driving 18-Wheel Truck/Trailer rigs in a safe and efficient manner. The Aggregate Haul Driver must be able to pass all tests and meet all requirements and qualifications established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
