Local Truck Driver Overview

• Mileage pay: $0.51 - $0.61 per mile (depending on experience)
• Weekly average: $1,000 - $1,200 per week
• Drivers can expect to make over $55,000 in just their first year
• Trailer Type: Dry Van
• Run a twelve-state radius from your home terminal (GA, NC, SC, TN, AL, VI, DE, MD, NJ, PA, NY - don't worry, no NYC)

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
• Minimum 1 year CDL-A experience
• Clean MVR
• Clean work history
• Proven work experience as truck driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving driving violations
• Adaptability and foresights to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
