We are currently seeking to hire an Equipment Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of trucks and trailers, securing lease and rental equipment as needed, scheduling and overseeing planned maintenance, and following up on damage repairs in the Lakes West region. This position requires a Class A CDL and medical card in order to move equipment to and from the maintenance facilities.

Responsibilities:

Mon-Fri 8am-8pm

• Work with local management and corporate to determine equipment needs
• Establish relationships with national lease and service providers
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory and maintenance records
• Complete and submit rental and lease agreements in a timely manner
• Report maintenance issues to supervisors in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in transportation and customer service
• Experience as a supervisor or manager
• Class A CDL and Current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor trailer experience
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to build rapport with vendors
