SEEKING CLASS A Local Route DRIVER – Westampton, NJ

GREAT SCHEDULES!

• 4 to 5 day workweek
• Home daily
• Start between 2:00 am to 4:00 am

GREAT PAY!

• $5,000 sign on bonus (paid in 3 increments)
• $1,000 after 90 days; $1,500 after 180 days; $2,500 after 1 year
• $34.00/ hour, plus overtime after 40 hours (earn up to $115K annually)

Position Overview: Incumbent is responsible for transporting and delivering freight to applicable transportation hubs or alternate designated drop locations safely, legally and on-time. This position requires working in environments with variation in temperature and humidity due to changing outdoor weather conditions.

• Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate

• Ensures backhaul related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or vendor location.

• Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab and trailer, for loading and unloading at both the vendor locations and Distribution Centers

• Managers appropriate documents: Billing of Lading and Shipping Documents.

• Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between all shippers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. 6-month experience minimum and 1 year desired

• Possess a current DOT Medical Certification Card and successfully pass DOT pre-employment requirements

• Ability and willingness to operate a manual and automatic transmission tractor

• Dependable attendance and a great customer service attitude
