OTR Independent Contractor (1099) Driveaway Position

Single Driving Division Independent Contractor (1099) Single OTR Driveaway Driver Needed. Driving Single units to delivery location in U.S. and Canada. Delivery locations vary by customer.

General Description of Benefits:

• Same Day Pay is available once all required paperwork and logs are submitted and verified.
• Pay is per mile + fuel surcharge
• Fuel surcharge based on: Truck type, Load miles, & Weekly national fuel average
• Drivers typically pay no more than $1.45/gal out of pocket
• Pay: $0.90 - $1.35 per mile (varies by load)

Job Requirements:

• Must hold a Class A or Class B CDL
• Must have at least 1 full year of verifiable OTR CMV driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Must maintain clean driving reports and a solid employment history.
• Must understand DOT HOS rules and regulations and keep accurate, daily DOT logs using the MOTIVE app. - Paper logs are not accepted.
• Must submit all required paperwork and documents on time.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills and maintain weekly contact with your dispatcher, even when not actively transporting for us.
• Must arrive on time for all pickup and delivery appointments.
• Must maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Position Type

• This is an Independent Contractor Driving Position — not a company driver or owner/operator role.
• This is an OTR position, not a local or regional driving job.

Additional Job Description

• Drivers may select the loads they want to transport; however, they must remain active by completing 3–5 loads per month.
• Drivers must maintain accurate, daily DOT logs using the MOTIVE app for the duration of their contract. Paper logs are not accepted.
