- Multiple home time options available
- Choose your pay & schedule:
- $0.55 CPM – Home weekends (48 hours)
- $0.60 CPM – Weekday home time
- $0.65 CPM – 12 days on / 48 hours home on weekdays
- Mostly drop & hook freight
- No NYC freight
- No brokered loads, ever
- Passenger program from day 1
- Per diem pay

Equipment & Orientation
- 2023 and newer Peterbilt 579 fleet
- $500 paid orientation is 2.5-days in Roaring Spring, PA
- Travel & lodging paid for and arranged by Smith Transport
- You will have your own private hotel room
- Your meals are provided while in Orientation
- Orientation classes are led by experienced Smith Transport drivers
- Meet your recruiter, driver manager, and leadership team

Requirements
- Age 21+
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months recent CDL-A OTR experience
- Safe parking location for truck & trailer at home OR ability to park at a terminal
- Any candidate who has violated the Department of Transportation’s drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.
