Equipment & Orientation
- 2023 and newer Peterbilt 579 fleet
- $500 paid orientation is 2.5-days in Roaring Spring, PA
- Travel & lodging paid for and arranged by Smith Transport
- You will have your own private hotel room
- Your meals are provided while in Orientation
- Orientation classes are led by experienced Smith Transport drivers
- Meet your recruiter, driver manager, and leadership team

Requirements
- Age 21+
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6-months recent CDL-A experience
- Safe parking location for truck & trailer when at home OR ability to park at terminal
- Any candidate who has violated the Department of Transportationās drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.
